A POEM ON THE SUPER STAR

Bangalore, Wednesday, 12 December 1950 , 9:45 Pm late in the night

Sivaji Rao Gaekwad roared out, to see his first light...

Dark he was, with tiny funny eyes...

resembled his mom, looked cute and nice...

He grew eating Ragi Rotis and was a rowdy brat...

Always was playful and so never became fat...

His style first noticed, while playin Marbles with a friend ..

Daddy shivaji hated it and beat him making his back bend...

Just like other teenage boys,, he drank and smoked like a robber

Lol he chewed Onions to show his parents he was strictly Sober

He grew,grew and one day stood 5 feet 9 inch tall...

He puffed beedis cause he was a Poor Bus Conductor after all....

Cool Style he had and that everyone around would say

His mannerisms were always unique in his damn own way...

Bahadhur a close friend of his urged him to join the film industry

He was the 1st man who spotted the talent hidden inside the young Shivaji

Madras Film Institute , The Bus Conductor joined in the year 1973

And the Rest as thee saying goes - JUST BECAME HISTORY

K.Balachander was the great director who spotted the uniqueness

Rajninkanth and Sreekanth were the names he mentions..

After Alladin and the Magic lamp they decided to go on their respective passage...

One became Great the other became Greater,,,

Still they are close friends 25 years later....

He showed of his comedy skills in thillu mullu with no mustache...

Class, humour , timing , style and great panache....

Disguised like a beggar, handicap and goes out in public..

People offer him money thinking hes poor and sick...

Whatever happens he says its--- All Gods Work

Acted like a Coolie, taxi driver , and also a clerk....

Donned the roles of the Poor and all Were real big .

Won millions of hearts without his present Wig...

Age is a factor we all have to face...

So he acted in plenty of movies to keep up with the race...

White hair he had,,, when he was just in his thirties

Kept Dying his hair and lost it all by the forties...

His fans loved his style and called him THALAIVAR with love

He decided to do the roles for their happiness as destined by the god above...

Few people today would love to see the old rajni to come..
